Douglas O’Loughlin, PhD is the Principal of The Dao of Thriving, as well as an Associate Consultant with Civil Service College (CSC) and Harthill Consulting. Originally from the US, he has been living in Singapore since 1993, and has worked across all sectors and in more than 20 countries. He has done Leadership and Organisation Development work since 1988, with AT&T, Joy of Learning Consultants, and CSC. He was a long-term faculty and coach with the Center for Creative Leadership and in the Master’s programme in OD at Assumption University. His passion is to support impactful and joyful organisations and communities.
Douglas has an MBA from the Rutgers Graduate School of Management and a PhD in OD from Assumption University. He researched how the field of Adult Developmental Psychology can enhance Personal and Organisation Development.
He is certified in a wide range of instruments and assessments, is co-founder of several OD Networks, and has written numerous articles and blogs in the field. He has spoken at many conferences, and has written a book, “Facilitating Transformation: 12 Strategies for Creating Breakthroughs with Groups.”
